Environmental Policy

As Manufacturer of Components to the Automotive Industry, Columbia must have systems in place to meet the current ISO 14001 Environmental Standard, Strict Controls on Materials as per 'End of Vehicle Life Requirements' and Marking of Parts for the Recycling Requirements. In addition our Processes and Waste Disposal must comply with EPA, Health Department and Building Commission Regulations.

As a responsible corporate citizen, Columbia is dedicated to protecting human health, natural resources and the local and global environment in accordance with the Government Environmental Regulations. This Policy is based on the integration of risk-based cost-effective management practices into Columbia's activities with the aim of continually reducing our 'Carbon Footprint'.

Columbia is committed to assess the environmental impacts of our activities and products to base its environmental management programs, and to reduce these impacts through the establishment of appropriate objectives and targets. We will maintain good communications with our customers and local community and will cooperate with legislators, regulators and other organizations with an interest in our environmental performance.

In accordance with our Environmental Management System requirements, our objectives will be reviewed periodically to assess progress toward continuous improvement. This policy statement will be made available to all our employees and the public.
